Buttons as Pure Decoration

This is a lovely piece of stitching work that was a great find at an antiques market. We were so happy to find this lovely tea cozy as it was just begging to be embellished. It has a beautiful scene on the front as pictured above and a selection of flowers and trees on the back. The lady in her blue dress and bonnet looked a little lost without her sheep...so we added a few.

We had a lot of fun enhancing this pretty scene with our buttons...

And enjoyed placing Incomparable butterfly, bird and ladybird buttons in various positions until the whole scene looked just right. Oh and of course the sheep ;-)

Our new range of teenies is perfect for using on stitch work & cross stitch patterns and great for fine materials.
