I made this little dress for my niece Kate's first birthday.
It fits more like a top - either she is growing too quickly or I'm too slow and have to add a few centimetres to all my future projects for the kids!
I have tried a few plackets before and searched high and low for the perfect tutorial but they all just end up leaving me more confused than ever - if anyone knows the link to an easy-to-follow placket tutorial please let me know!
The pink Incomparable flower buttons are the perfect colour match for the material.
I made a small error with the sleeves which I then folded in on themselves and created a bit of a bubble effect - I like how they turned out and next time I'll do that on purpose!
Big brother Luke had to feature in the photo shoot! Thanks Luke!
Don't forget about our buttons-for-tutorial exchange - we are taking ideas until Saturday and welcome any ideas you might have. We've already had a few creative comments and look forward to hearing more...if you missed it here is the link.
Whoopsy-Daisies...
She's adorable! Excellent job on the outfit, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the little dress you made for your niece. It is so cute and looks so sweet on your neice. She is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteDire che siete favolosi è riduttivo!
ReplyDeleteStima e professionalità per il vostro lavoro, se poi la modella è la dolce nipotina...allora tutto è MAGNIFICO!
Un forte abbraccio. NI
