Shabby Apple Winner and A Choc Chip Cookie Recipe

The winner of the dress from Shabby Apple is BamaGirl.

I can't think of ingredients that complement each other better than peanut butter and chocolate, and then add warm just-baked cookie dough and sea salt into the mix and we really have a recipe for goodness.

I found this recipe at Ambitious Kitchen and adapted it slightly.

You'll need:

1 and 1/4C flour,
3/4 t bicarbonate of soda,
3/4 t baking powder,
1/4 t sea salt and more for sprinkling,
1/2 C unsalted butter (I use salted and then omit the salt above),
1/2 C crunchy peanut butter,
3/4 C light brown sugar,
1/2 T honey,
1 egg and 1 egg yolk,
1 t vanilla,
1 T milk,
1 C chocolate chips (I used a 200g bar of Cadbury's top deck)

Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt - set aside.
Mix the butter and peanut butter until blended. Mix in the sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, honey, vanilla and milk.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on grease proof paper on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake at 175ยบ C for 9 minutes.

Try in vain to wait for cookies to cool before eating!
Serve with a tall glass of milk.

Well done to our winner and thank you to Shabby Apple for the opportunity to spoil one of our lucky followers.
For everyone else, thanks for entering and now console yourself with the most delicious peanut butter choc-chip sea salt cookies ever!
